We Did Something Different for Pudsey!

From babies and sweets to a St.Trinian outfit we definitely did something different for Children in Need and raised nearly £200!
All members of staff took part in various fundraising events, which included competitions to guess the baby and the number of sweets in a jar (for those of you wondering the answer was 442!). A big “Pudsey” scratch card and non-uniform day also helped to raise further funds for Children In Need. Lead organiser was Paul Neill, who pledged to donate a further £5 himself if a member of staff turned up in fancy dress, and to everyone’s surprise Lesley Patterson turned up at 8 am dressed as a St Trinians girl – evidence attached in the photo!
The Children in Need charity operates all year round to positively change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the UK. Its vision is a society where each and every child and young person is supported to realise their potential. Over £19 million was raised by the BBC One Children in Need Appeal Show, and there is still more to come as the money continues to pour in from the thousands of fundraising events already held, or scheduled to happen, right across the UK. The Do Something Different fundraising theme captured our imaginations and as Paul Neill explains “everyone pitched in and had a laugh, we are already planning what we are going to do to help Children in Need next year!”
